About the Artist
After spending 30 years teaching young children in metro Atlanta, I retired to the peace and beauty of the North Georgia Mountains. I am compelled to create beauty and offer it to the world. My first love is quilting, artful images that hang on people's walls. More recently, I have started to paint with alcohol inks. Their vibrancy and brilliance speak to my soul, and part of the joy is to see the paintings and prints find their way into homes where the owners are uplifted by their beautiful images.

A little more about the Artist
I live in beautiful Rabun County, GA. I am pleased to be a part of the talented art community that resides in the lovely North Georgia Mountains. My greatest joy is to see joy in someone's eyes from something that I have created. So, I hope as you look over my various works you can find something you, or someone you love, might find lovely as well.
A little technique
Alcohol ink is a pigment dissolved in isopropyl alcohol, which spreads freely on a nonporous surface until the alcohol evaporates and only the intense colors remain. The process challenges me to surrender control and allow what wants to happen. In that way, it is a personal growth opportunity.
